Aubrey had more good reports from doctors this past week. Her little body is strong and healthy! Thank you for your many prayers, and please continue to join us in believing for a miracle in her heart.

Here’s our beautiful and amazing mother, being showered with love by a whole bunch of homeschooled high school kids. Why? Because she’s spent the last couple of months putting together a magical performance of Seussical!

Valentine’s Preparations

We wanted some garland for the kitchen window. So we took a bit of oak tag (cereal boxes work just as well), glued misc. wrapping paper or old cut up greeting cards to cover it, cut it into heart shapes using a cookie cutter as a pattern and strung the paper-covered hearts, along with hearts turned into Valentines for individual family members, onto a festive ribbon. Voila! Heart-y Garland!

Next we fashioned some larger hearts to dangle from the windows. Also a Valentine’s Booklet to mail to Grandma & Grandpa. Put stuff on a table and let ‘em at it!

Gotta have lots of cookies, right? Ruth’s Vanilla Christmas Cookies is a fabulous cutout cookie recipe (the dough is oh so easy to work with!) And Chocolate Chipper Tramps featuring pink and red M&M’s are always a treat. (Look for those recipes tomorrow!)

Ah! Time to sit back and enjoy the fruit of our labor!

Help us be a voice for the innocent lives being slaughtered on the altar of convenience, Lord. Bring repentance, awakening, conviction, and healing to the hearts of men and women all across our nation. We need Your touch, Jesus; we need Your mercy and grace.
