In case any of you missed it, Aubrey turned 7 months old last Sunday. How thankful we are for her! Please remember her in your prayers.
We’re revisiting the topic of discipline in a mini-series. As always, we welcome your thoughts and questions! […]
This one is my go-to strata recipe. We love it with asparagus and goat cheese, but really, you can throw in anything you’d like. The key is chewy break (day old is best!) cut into nice big chunks. And, of course, a nice golden parmesan top! […]
“How do you deal fairly with two toddlers [or kids] who are fighting?”
When this question came to us a couple weeks ago, even from the California coast, I could hear the chuckles from my mom and sister as we each opened the email. Not because the question is particularly humorous, mind you (in fact, it’s a bit of a pull-your-hair-out question, really!), but because the answer happens to be a Sinclair mantra of child training. Holidays are worth celebrating, and none more than Easter — at least, that’s the impression I grew up with, given the special attention my parents gave to celebrating this important Sunday.

I have always had a reputation for being cantankerous particular about my bed. It has to be made, it has to be made my way, and it has to stay the way I left it all day. My poor sisters — I would go into a panic if I walked into our bedroom and saw […]
Welcome to Mom and Us!
We are so excited about this new web venture, and are thrilled to have you along for the ride.
We think the world of our mom — we really do — and are so blessed to have inherited her passion for the Lord and His ways. Consequently, there are now seven daughters who want to serve Jesus wholeheartedly, and want to embrace His truth for their lives. We’re definitely swimming upstream, though, against a tide of popular culture that hates God, despises biblical femininity, and has polluted truth with the poison of feminism. As we have sought to encourage one another in our walks with the Lord, ideas about this site began to crystallize […]
