I don't know about you, but there are few things I dislike more than have my oven and gas burners on in the summer between the hours of 3-7pm, the hottest time of the day. Even when I force myself to the task, I must admit that it's rather disheartening to toil over a hot stove, sweat beading on my forehead, only to have the family push the food around their plates with their forks because they're just too hot to eat. We are a mom and her seven daughters, and this site is our discussion of what it means to be a Godly woman. Between the eight of us, we bring a lot of different perspectives to the table — older mom, younger moms, not moms; “veteran” wife, more newly married, and single; pastor’s wives and pastor’s daughters; homemakers, business owner, church administrator, high school students, and middle school student — to name a few. All of these perspectives are joined here in one purpose, though, and that is to discover how we can best glorify God as disciples who are women.
